There's a Halloween Grinch Show?

The Grinch is somebody who's been around your whole life, isn't he? Not saying he's a favorite by all means - especially at Christmastime. But did you know that there was a television special in the 70s called "Halloween Is Grinch Night?" I never knew until now!

The special won an Emmy in 1978 even though it premiered on October 29 in 1977 on ABC. The original voice actor for The Grinch (Boris Karloff) was replaced by Hans Conried and yes - there's singing parts of this holiday special too and the it's Thurl Ravenscroft - the same voice you hear on the Christmas song, "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch."
