See Weird Al at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre July 5th!

“Weird Al” Yankovic has been a piece of our pop culture since the 80s and he's bringing his "Strings Attached" concert to Meadow Brook Amphitheatre July 5th!

Were you aware that Weird Al is the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history, with four Grammys and 15 nominations? His album "Mandatory Fun" was the first comedy album to debut at #1 and his single "Word Crimes" made Al one of only four artists to have had Top 40 singles in each of the last decades. The other three are Michael Jackson, Madonna and U2. Weird Al also received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just this past year. This guy is amazingly talented!

My husband and I are crossing our fingers we'll hear Al's "Eat It," "Amish Paradise," and "Like A Surgeon" live, backed by a full orchestra (hence "Strings Attached") with costume changes, background singers, a video wall and more. It's going to be so much fun!

Tickets to Weird Al's show July 5th at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre are on sale and you can enter for a chance to win yours HERE

Check out the interview he did with the very funny Mike George below. I highly recommend visiting www.mikegeorgecreative.com and his youtube channel "The Vent" :-)
