Schatzi is a super cute 5-year-old male domestic shorthair.
Schatzi is a shy, sweet gentleman looking for a good home. He is a birdwatcher extraordinaire and keeps to himself. When he arrived, it was clear he had been bitten by another animal. Since we don’t know what bit him or their rabies status, Schatzi has a few rules he needs to follow for the first few months of going home. He cannot be around children or other animals (unless the other animals are also on a rabies quarantine). This is just to ensure that he does not have Rabies, which can take up to six months to present. Due to this quarantine, he will be a foster-to-adopt pet. You will be able to reach out to us with behavioral or medical questions throughout the quarantine. Other than that, his adoption is quite straightforward!
