Just about everyone has a fondue pot somewhere. If you are like Rachel, maybe you've never used it but with a big football weekend coming up, it may be time to find your fondue pot!
Over the holidays my wife found a recipe that was great without the mess of hot oil in your fondue pot.
Here's the recipe as I remember it:
- Beef or Chicken Broth
- A clove of garlic. Halved
- A bay leaf
- A little bit of Soy Sauce
All that goes in the pot at 350 degrees or so. We cut up beef and chicken and had some cooked shrimp laying around so we used that too. The beef and chicken cooked up very quickly. No longer than a minute if I remember correctly. Might be worth a try.
