We went for a hike Saturday. Normally our hikes are fairly flat. Searched this hike to Pilot Knob in Lake George. There is a Gazebo outlook and a water fall. It overlooks Lake George. Sounded good. Read about someone taking their 7 year old’s birthday party there. 40 minutes to the gazebo and another 25 to the waterfall. How hard could it be? Here's the article
Above are my photos. A great view. The waterfall is just missing some water. It's Tuesday and my legs are still killing me. I now know that I’m not smarter than a 5th grader and not in as good of shape as a 7 year old. It seemed like it was a lot longer than the article claimed.
I was never so happy to see a parking lot in my life!
