A certain someone close to me just turned the big 5-0. I jokingly said, "Oh, you'll be getting your AARP invitation soon." He didn't believe me, he was like, "I am not a senior yet!" However, I remembered when one of my sisters turned 50, and she got hers. My dad got his way later in life because he also thought 50 was too young to be considered a senior. Then, like this certain someone, he got the invitation and learned all of the things you get with your AARP card, so he sent it in. Along with the card, came a little welcome gift and a note...try not to laugh when you see how it was "embellished," but all kidding aside, is 50 too young for this?
