We have all struggled with our own demons and we have all hid things from our parents for fear that they may be angry or un-accepting of our decisions. I remember when my mother found out that I was drinking with my friends. I did not care so much that she was angry with me, it was the disappointment that was tough to handle.
I cannot even imagine struggling with my sexuality and being fearful to tell my parents...and for many once they have the courage to do so, it does not go as they had hoped.
Verizon decided to base an ad on this situation. "Love Calls Back" is more a mini-film, that demonstrates just how much acceptance from our family means. I applaud Verizon for tackling such a meaningful topic...and the way the ad ends will bring you to tears.
Do you think this makes a good commercial too, or should Verizon just stick with selling phones in a more informational manner?
