I love these "by state" surveys. Saw one today for the "most searched Thanksgiving recipes by state". Of course I had to look at New York. I thought maybe we'll find a great new recipes. What are the most searched recipes for New York? Salad and Brownies. Salad and Brownies? This is for Thanksgiving! Salad? I want maybe a deep fried turkey or an amazing pumpkin pie, special gravy or maybe stuffing. Who even has room on the plate for salad? That is valuable real estate. One reason to move to Alaska? Pumpkin Cheese Cake. OK it better be REALLY good.
