We've had a gray fox in our neighborhood a few time last summer and fall. We thought it was a coyote at first but did some research on it and discovered it was a fox. Either way our 22 pound dog thought he could take it so we had to be very careful.
A full sized wild coyote was captured at the NY State Music in Albany yesterday!. No one is exactly sure how he got there. It's not exactly out in the country. He has been captured kind of scary though.
The Department of Environmental Conservation was called in to tranquilizing the coyote. Yesterday DEC released the coyote in the woods in southwestern Albany County
