Yesterday it was announced that Arena Football will be coming back to Albany's Times Union Center in the spring of 2018. They are searching for a head coach right now. Oh the team name? They don't have one yet but you can suggestion one and even reserve your seats here.
Maybe they will bring back the Albany Firebird's name who knows. I went to a couple of their games. This is a crazy action filled sport. I had trouble keeping up with the rules but where else can someone kick a ball into a big net, have someone else catch it and start running only to be checked into hockey boards? Needless to say it's never boring.
