I went into our break room today. I see 1/2 pot of coffee ready to go...and I see three others just sitting around doing nothing. I noticed that our coffee pot has 3 warmers but I don't think I've ever seen more than one in use. Then I noticed the colors on the coffee pots.
I've been to a diner or two in my day and I've seen people walking around with 2 pots. One with the brown top...regular coffee...one with the orange top...the dreaded decaf. What goes in the red one? Is it 1/2 and 1/2? Is it a distant cousin of the orange pot? All I know for sure is that there are 4 pots. Three of them are dirty and if anyone touches the one with coffee in it before I do we are going to "have words". Dibs!
