It finally warmed up enough to get outside this weekend. When we had the snow & wind a couple of weeks ago we had some of these "trees" blow down. I'm not sure what they are called or if they are trees or just really big weeds. We have a ton of these around our yard and the roots are almost no existent so the blow down all the time.
Yesterday I got the chain saw out and cut up the 4 or 5 that blew down. I showed the neighbors that yes they indeed have a lumberjack living near by. I was feeling quite manly. Since I also have a slight tear in one of my rotator cuffs, I am feeling a bit more "old manly" today, but I think it still counts.
Next chore...build a fire pit.
