Shooting in Vegas during Jason Aldean performance

Sunday night outside of Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, shots were fired during Jason Aldean's performance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.  At least 400 people have been injured, and 50 have died (UPDATED 8:56am).

Some of the artists who were also on site immediately posted on Twitter about the shooting, including Jake Owen & Luke Combs.

One of the people attending, Drew Akiyoshi (spelling was incorrect in the original post) tweeted this video.... I have to warn you, it is hard to watch & listen to. You can see Jason Aldean performing, and then hear the shots fired in the background.

We will post updates as they come in... for now, we are thinking & praying for those who attended the concert & their families.

UPDATE: Police report that one suspect is down.

UPDATE: Police are looking for Marilou Danley, who has been named a companion of the now deceased suspect.

UPDATE (6:53AM): The shooter has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock, a Las Vegas native.

UPDATE: Jason Aldean has been posted to Instagram regarding the situation.

Tonight has been beyond horrific. I still dont know what to say but wanted to let everyone know that Me and my Crew are safe. My Thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved tonight. It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night. #heartbroken #stopthehate
