Valentine's Day! Love, Romance and Chocolate!! - and of course, Ketchup!! Sound good? Er - maybe not! Ketchup Flavored Chocolate?? Yep - that's what Heinz has made! Ketchup can go on pretty much anything. We pile it on our fries, controversially use it on hot dogs, and even drizzle it on mac & cheese sometimes. But one place ketchup really shouldn't belong is in our chocolates...but no one told Heinz that.
Heinz UK announced that it had teamed up with the store Fortnum & Mason to create limited-edition "ValenHeinz" Tomato Ketchup Truffles. Yes...that's right.......ketchup chocolate truffles.
The treats are described as "tangy but smooth" which are certainly words, but neither are ones I'd want to use to describe fancy chocolates. In fact, the shop promises "you'll get the delicious taste of Heinz Tomato Ketchup that you know and love in every bite." Yay?
