How to Get Kids to Eat Vegetables and Healthy Foods

I struggle every day to get my kids to eat healthy food, especially vegetables. Maybe you're in the same position as me?

Schedule meals and snacks.

Plan dinner menus in advance.

Make one meal for the whole family.

Don't comment on your kids' eating habits.

Introduce new foods slowly.

Make healthy food fun. Experiment with condiments, dips, dressings.

Make mornings count.

Add extra sweetness to get kids to eat vegetables and fruits. Maybe some brown sugar added to carrots for example.

Get your kids cooking. They’ll be more interested in eating what they created.

Cut back on junk. By having fewer junk foods around, you'll force your children to eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and dairy products.

Allow treats in moderation. The forbidden is always more appealing.

Get creative with meals. Give food silly names. Make “mini” things.

Be a good role model.
