FILE PHOTO Fred "Mister" Rogers Dead At 74

Mister Rogers is known all around the United States, and probably the world, as a symbol of being kind. November 13, 2019 is officially World Kindness Day and people all around are being asked to be like Mister Rogers and wear their favorite cardigan sweater.

WQED, the Pittsburgh television station that was the flagship for Mister Roger's Neighborhood, is who started this cardigan trend. They're inviting everyone in a cardigan to stop by their studios on that day.

According to TribLive:

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day, the station will offer warm drinks, kindness activities and the opportunity to see “Mister Rogers: Just the Way You Are,” an interactive mixed-media portrait by artist Wayne Brezinka.

So remember to be kind tomorrow. Be like Mister Rogers.
