Greenville Central Schools Introduced One Dreamy School Resource Officer

As many school have bene doing for a number of years, Greenville Central Schools in Greenville, NY has found the budget for a school resource officer, or SRO. They introduced Deputy Wyant via social media over the long Labor Day weekend.

From the post:

Deputy Wyant has previously worked for the Catskill Police Department and then the Athens Police Department where he was assigned as an SRO for the Coxsackie-Athens School District before joining the Greene County Sheriff’s Office. Having completed both Basic School Resource Officer and Basic Police Juvenile Officer training, Deputy Wyant will focus on building positive relationships with students and adults, providing character education and prevention programs while incorporating an additional level of security for each of our buildings.

So obviously this is a good thing, but it would be hard to ignore that Deputy Wyant is a bit of a dreamboat. Some of the comments from mothers mentioned that they would drop the kids off and maybe stay a little while too.

Congrats to Deputy Wyant on this new position. Also good luck because it looks like you're gonna have your hands full!
