I don't want to make anyone panic but I was told about some pretty troubling stuff this morning and I just anted to share it with all of you.
There appears to be a supervolcano developing under New England, mainly Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
According to ScienceAlert:
The upwelling we detected is like a hot air balloon, and we infer that something is rising up through the deeper part of our planet under New England...It will likely take millions of years for the upwelling to get where it's going."
Alright, so millions of years is a good thing. However they don't quite understand why it's happening since, you know, New England doesn't have any active volcanos or anything.
I guess for now we're safe, but I am still a little bit concerned.
