(London, England) -- George Michael is in his final resting place. The musician's family released a statement yesterday saying in part, "Family and close friends gathered for the small, private ceremony to say goodbye to their beloved Son, Brother and Friend. No further details will be released." The funeral is thought to have taken place in a small chapel in Highgate West Cemetery, North London.
