Your generosity impacts kids like Whitney, now 12, of Latham, New York. When she was younger, she experienced countless episodes when her eyes rolled back in her head, and she would have momentary memory lapses. Whitney was referred to Albany Med Pediatric Neurologist Dr. John Pugh who diagnosed her with absence seizures, a condition of childhood epilepsy. Under his expert care, Whitney and her family are facing the challenges that come with her condition while also helping increase awareness and understanding of epilepsy both locally and nationally.
Today, Whitney, a sixth-grader, is doing well and enjoys cheerleading and art, thanks to support from donors like you.
