6-year-old Cooper Lare, of Guilderland, who was diagnosed at just 17 months old with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. Under the expert and compassionate care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Melodies Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Albany Med’s children’s hospital, Cooper underwent radiation therapy and chemotherapy and has been cancer-free for the past five years. Throughout the entire ordeal, his parents appreciated knowing they could count on the Melodies Center’s welcoming, supportive staff.
Today, Cooper is doing well and enjoys playing tee-ball, reading and watching “Paw Patrol,” thanks to support from donors like you. Tune in to hear how your donation makes a difference for children in our region like Cooper.
