Timothée Chalamet made headlines when he arrived to the London premiere of A Complete Unknown on a Lime bike — but it came with some consequences!

Chalamet appeared on the French talk show Quotidien, and talked about his movie premiere bike ride and just how much it cost him. He explained, as translated by PEOPLE, "There was a traffic jam. And I actually wasn't allowed to park there [at the premiere], and I got a £65 ($79) fine." He added, "And actually it’s horrible because it was actually kind of an advert for them."

Chalamet showed up to the red carpet of A Complete Unknown in London on the Lime bike, wearing a black suit with a blue shirt underneath. Lime bikes are available for rent in countries across the world, and according to its website, "is the world’s largest shared electric vehicle company. We provide convenient and reliable short-term rentals of electric bikes and scooters at an affordable price in more than 280 cities in nearly 30 countries on five continents."

In A Complete Unknown, Chalamet transforms into music legend Bob Dylan. The film follows the music legend's rise to fame from a 19-year-old Minnesota musician to having his songs top the charts, and the road he took to get there, culminating at 1965's Newport Folk Festival. In addition to Chalamet, the film also features Elle Fanning, Edward Norton and Monica Barbaro.
