One of Rachel's favorite organizations is "Adopt-a-Soldier". When you adopt a soldier you send care packages to your soldier throughout the year. Sunday 12/11 and Sunday 12/18 they will be collecting extra items to send to our troops for the holidays at the Walmart in Queensbury.
Some of the items they are looking for to give you some ideas:
- Trail Mix
- Tissues
- Razors
- Cough Drops
- Toothpaste and tooth brushes
- Canned foods
- Cookies
- Ramen Noodles
- Eye Drops
- Gum
- Bars of Soap
- Shampoo
- Toilet Paper
