Robert Irwin Accidentally Brutally Insults Pregnant Sister Bindi On Live TV

The family of late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin continue his legacy by spreading awareness about animals, but they are also celebrities in their own rights. Along with loving the Irwins' interactions with critters, fans take interest in the family's personal lives too, and they all rejoiced a few months ago when Steve's 22-year-old daughter Bindi announced she was pregnant with her first child, a little girl.

This week, 17-year-old Robert and his mom, Terri, appeared on an Australian morning show to talk about the upcoming season of their reality show, Crikey! It's The Irwins. During the interview, Bindi's pregnancy came up, with Terri exclaiming how overjoyed they all were about the upcoming tiny addition to their family. That's when Robert made a comment that's definitely going to require an apology to his sister.

He declared to all the show's viewers, "She's massive now!"

As Terri jokingly punched Robert's arm to chide him, the teen tried to recover by adding, "Like, in a good way. It's special." One of the show's hosts noted, "Spoken like a true little brother."

Later in the show, the host told Robert he was probably gonna get it from Bindi for the on-air gaffe. Robert agreed stating, "I'm in so much trouble!"

According to Terri, Bindi is due next month. That same month, Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell of Florida, will celebrate their one year anniversary.
