No More Plastic Bags At Price Chopper After August 1, 2020

Back in March we all had to get used to the idea of bringing our own reusable bags to the grocery store. Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic many stores decided not to allow your own bags in for fear of spreading germs and brought back the reusable plastic bags. That's about to end at Price Chopper/Market 32 stores around the Capital Region.

WTEN reports:

Originally, asingle-use plastic bag banwent into effect in New York State on March 1. The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has been holding off enforcing the ban due to a court challenge. The COVID-19 pandemic has prolonged that challenge.

Another thing you'll need to get used to is packing your own bags as they will not pack your reusable bags themselves at the store.
