Yesterday Disney Plus went live. There were some bumps along the way. A lot of people pre-purchased it and it seems to have jammed up the internet. Our kids have been bugging us to get it and I didn't want to give in too easily. It's Dad thing. I wanted it too but I didn't want to tell them that. Last night the FOMO was killing me so I singed up. I decided to drop Hulu for now. They both cost about the same or you can bundle both for $12.99 per month. I hope I don't miss something there. I can always sign back up, but frankly between Disney +, ATT Now, Netflix & Prime Video we have more than enough. Don't have that much time to watch and may thin the herd some more.
My question is what is the first thing you watched on Disney Plus? The rest of the family was off doing other things, so I didn't want to start with something epic so I started with Sister Act. Got about 15 minutes in and switched to Ant Man. That is actually better than I thought it would be, but I didn't get to finish it last night.
What I'm really looking forward to are all the old movies. I mean come on Don Knotts & Tim Conway in "The Apple Dumpling Gang"? That is worth the price right there. You think I'm kidding, but I'm not. Saving that for a special night. Maybe just me & the dogs will be watching, but so be it.
