Suspect In Fatal Popeyes Chicken Sandwich Stabbing Identified

Authorities have released the identity of the suspect who allegedly stabbed a man to death over a Popeyes chicken sandwich in Oxon Hill, Maryland, on November 4. Police say that Ricoh McClain, 30, is facing murder and assault charges for allegedly stabbing 28-year-old Kevin Tyrell Davis after he reportedly cut in the long line for the popular sandwich.

The two men got into an argument that spilled outside the fast-food restaurant, and Davis was stabbed to death. Paramedics were unable to save him, and he was pronounced dead a short time later. McClain fled the scene but was identified by an officer who was reviewing surveillance footage from the restaurant.

Officials believe that McClain is still in the area and warned the public that he should be considered armed and dangerous. There is a $25,000 reward for any information that leads to McClain's arrest. He is facing charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
