This is so sad. The Albany Empire won the Area Bowl Championship and now the league is closing down operations. The word is that the team let players and staff know this afternoon. The reason for the shut down has to do with a lawsuit from an insurance company according to WGY News. The team was set to hold tryouts this weekend
