Chrissy Teigen's Fan Theory About Jim & Pam From 'The Office' Is So Sad

Have you ever theorized about what happened to your favorite characters after a long running TV show ends? Well, Chrissy Teigen definitely does. The cook book author took to Twitter to share her theory about Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly's relationship post The Office. Turns out, Chrissy isn't super optimistic about their marriage.

Just last week, Entertainment Weekly published an oral history of The Office's sixth season episodes "Niagara: Part 1" and "Niagara: Part 2." Fans of the show will recognize these as the episodes in which Jim and Pam finally tied the knot. Those episodes aired 10 years ago, which means Jim and Pam would've just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a married couple. Teigen posted a poll on Twitter to see if her followers believe the fan favorite couple actually reached that milestone.

When she got 70% of people believing Jim and Pam stay together after the show, Chrissy revealed what she really thinks about the fictional couple. "Guys I’m loving your endless love optimism here but I didn’t ask what you HOPE for, I asked what you actually think!!" she wrote in a follow up tweet. "I think they’re together but Philly Jim likes a taste of the high life and bottle service with athletes and Pam still can’t figure out her phone so he never has to answer FaceTimes and he never gets caught."

"Pam is unhappy but content with their income and children so she’s like whatever and draws things for Etsy like cozy home signs (wait is this me)," she continued. "They never went to Austin. You know it and I know it. I talk about moving to Austin every other day and here I am. Not in Austin."

After sharing what she believes happened to Jim and Pam after The Office series finale, Chrissy chimed in on all of the show's other couples. Based on her theories here, Chrissy suggests that, statistically, it couldn't possibly have worked out for the Halperts."Actually you know what? Phyllis and Bob are def still together. Dwight and Angela still together. Michael and Holly definitely together. Mathematically (i got a C+) SOMEONE here has to be divorced. It’s Jim and Pam."

Fans, of course, were truly upset by Chrissy's fan theory. Many of them quickly replied, defending Jim and Pam. "No. I reject this. The world is terrible enough right now! I demand to have Jim and Pam!!!" one person wrote. "Jesus Tapioca Krueger Christ, Teigen. Let me live in the lie! Everything is FINE. Jim and Pam are fine and totally not whisper screaming at their youngest's speech and debate final!!" another joked.

Others added their own speculation about The Office characters' relationships post show. Bob and Phyllis: Open Marriage , Stanley: Divorced again, Ryan and Kelly: Divorced, Michael and Holly: Married, Dwight and Angela: Married, but separated for awhile, Jim and Pam: Married, but renewed their vows at Niagara Falls when they went through another rough patch a few years ago," one fan theorized.
