Working at 99.5 The River we get a lot of chances to go to shows. We meet a lot of great listeners, take them back stage sometimes, get to do stage announcements and even get to shoot off t-shirts in a t-shirt launcher. It's a lot of fun, but we often miss much of the performances. Last night I was 'off duty" if you will and got to pull up a chair on the lawn for Hootie & The Blowfish and Barenaked Ladies. We took our time getting in so we were at the back of the lawn. I heard there were about 16,000 people at the show. We could see the screens pretty well although my phone didn't take a very good picture.
It was very relaxing sitting there listening to the music and then I looked up and saw the sliver of the moon right over the pavilion. I had to share a pic of that. Sometimes it's the simple stuff and makes a night. Hope you enjoyed the night too.
