Your Dog Can Help Your Kid Read Better

Summer vacation is here. Let's face it there probably hasn't been much learning going on at school for the last few weeks. I remember being a kid and the last few weeks you pretty much mail it in. I just saw this interesting article about helping your kid improve their reading and the best part is you really don't have to do anything. Just have your kid read out loud to the family dog. It says that dogs are great listeners and the don't correct mistakes so kids can just relax and focus on reading.

The article goes on to say that kids improve their reading skill by 12%. Our dogs would probably sit in the middle of the book or start chewing on it. so "results may vary"

Here is more about this from Lifehacker
