When you bring a giant tortoise home and don't tell Grandma first...well just get ready for a little excitement. I thought they might have to give here a little CPR or something. We learned when we brought a new dog into our home (see them below) you should take them to a neutral place like a park first and let them sniff each other for a while. Not sure if that applies to Grandmas & tortoises but I suppose it couldn't hurt.
Cody is the black dog. Our new dog is Princess the tan one. We found out the hard way that she is an escape artist and pretty fast yesterday. Other than that they are getting along well.
