To say the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society has had a lot going on lately is an understatement. To start Luna (shown above) has been spared from being put to down and all charges against her have been dropped as long as she stays out of trouble. Get the latest on that story here.
The Humane Society has just taken in a lot of animals that were involved in a hoarding case in Troy. They currently are caring for over 100 animals and they need good homes. Mohawk Hudson Humane Society has offered reduced adoptions fees and also help caring for them with donations of food, care items or cash donations,. They are also looking for foster families for some animals.
