Help With Hurricane Florence Relief

Hurricane Florence is easing closer to the coast of the Carolinas threatening to be the worst storms to hit the region since Hugo, 25 years ago.

Most forecasters predict the storm will likely hit land sometime on Friday as a Category 3 or 4, producing destructive winds and catastrophic flooding leaving the eastern tip of North Carolina under more than 9 feet of water in some spots.

Federal officials are pleading with residents to prepare emergency kits and find a place to go during the storm.

There is no doubt that the area will need major assistance, so the Red Cross is already preparing by collecting funds in order to help people recover post storm. If you'd like to help, go here to make your donation.

There are also many shelters working tirelessly for all of the pets in danger. Click here to help keep animals safe during the storm.

Thank you. Our thoughts are with those in the Carolinas.
