Remembering 9-11 at the NY State Museum Online

17 years ago today the 9-11 attacks shook us all to the core.  We will all remember the day and those lost in our own way today.  I have not been to the memorial in NYC yet, but I need to get there.  We have a very moving exhibit in Albany at the NY State Museum called "The World Trade Center: Rescue, Recovery, Response".

Much of it can be viewed online here.

It doesn't have the impact of seeing the exhibit in person, but maybe you can take a few minutes to look through it today and make plans to spend some time at the museum.  Be sure to click the links once you are on the page.

The Engine 6 pumper is one of the items that was taken to the exhibit.  For those of us who watched it all unfold on TV...well it has quite an impact.  I still can't imagine what it was like to have been there that day.

Thank you to all of our first responders.  For those who lost friends and family, you are in my thoughts.
