Watch Charlie Puth Cover Blink-182, Spice Girls & Lit On 'The Tonight Show'

Charlie Puth is a man of many talents, as seen on his Tuesday night (July 17) appearance on The Tonight Show, where he showed Jimmy Fallon and his viewers what kind of spin he can offer to '90s pop-punk classics.

As part of a fake album called Charlie Puth Sings 90's Punk, the singer/songwriter went and added his flavor to "angsty, fast-paced sound '90s pink." From blink-182's "All The Small Things" and Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy," the chart-topper, who is currently on the road for his "Voicenotes Tour," offered up new renditions of the smashes in front of a green screen that showed scenes out of '90s skateboard and surfboard heaven. For his last number, Fallon revealed the singer's other fictional album, Charlie Puth Sings Spice Girlswhich prompted the 26-year-old star to bust out a version of the famed group's signature hit, "Wannabe."

After the segment, Puth offered the audience the real deal with a performance of "The Way I Am," the latest single from his LP, Voicenotes, which was released in May. As one of the standouts in his generation of pop stars, the singer seems to be keeping his promotional circuit entirely focused on the music. It echoes the sentiments made during his iHeartRadio Album Release Party. "My goal is to make this music as universal as possible, so just because I'm a famous dude, that doesn't mean that I'm [not] going through the same things. It's all relative on the scale," he told the crowd. "I'm literally a kid from Jersey."
