Watch BTS Storm 'Ellen' With Performances of 'Fake Love' & 'Airplane Pt 2'

Just a week after the release of their new album, Love Yourself: Tear, BTS continued their Stateside promotional circuit with an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (May 25), where the K-Pop phenomenon offered up two rousing live performances.

It was the usual affair for both numbers of "Fake Love" and "Airplane Pt. 2" when V, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga, Jin, RM, and J-Hope showed off their slick choreography in sync with one another as the crowd screamed (and we mean screamed) in excitement. Elsewhere in their appearance on the daytime talk show, the group sat down with the host to take photos and even got pranked. "Fake Love" and "Airplane Pt. 2" are featured on their recently-released LP.

Early word from Billboard suggested that BTS' new album will compete against Post Malone's beerbongs & bentleys for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Both sets are estimated to move around 120,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 24.

Amidst their appearance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, where the group took home the title for Top Social Artist, it was revealed that Shawn Mendes would like to collaborate with the famed boyband. "A thousand percent. I just need to find the time to do it," the 21-year-old singer admitted during his interview with Billboard. "I think that when I watched them perform the first time, I was the most blown away I’ve ever been in my whole life. It's crazy."
