Could They Have Really Afforded The Rent?

I was living in NYC when I was gifted the box set of Sex and The City.

I had opted to live in Queens even though I was working in Manhattan because I wanted something bigger than a shoe box in which to welcome family and friends. Though I made a fairly decent living, I never could have afforded Carrie Bradshaw's apartment on the Upper East Side and always wondered how the struggling writer was supposed to be doing it (even before she met Mr. Big)!

Here is a great little list of our favorite TV show dwellings and what their actual cost would be today. Not sure that any one of them is realistic based on the character's lives! I feel so cheated! -Tracy
