If you've been dealing with that obnoxious iPhone glitch for a few days you're probably close to screaming, if you haven't already! Here's a fix for now. There's an update that should fix it but if you don't have the time or want to wait to do it overnight...do this for now!
- Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Text Replacement
- Tap +
- For Phrase, type an upper-case "I". For Shortcut, type a lower-case "i"
