Sunmark Credit Union Latham will celebrate Earth Day by hosting a free Community Shred Day on Saturday, April 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Community members will have the opportunity to bring their unwanted documents to the Latham branch, located at 1187 Troy-Schenectady Road, to be securely shredded on the spot. Sunmark will also be collecting new and like-new baby items - including onesies, bibs, bottles, diapers, clothing, wipes, and formula – for a Community Baby Shower Drive, hosted with United Way of the Greater Capital Region and Women United. Donations of all sizes in new or-like new condition will help stuff the CDTA bus on 5.18 Day.
The credit union will continue to collect items for the Community Baby Shower Drive in each of their branches during the month of April.
