OK we didn't get 15 inches of snow. I'd say maybe 8 at our house...if that much, but it was really pretty. Driving in the power lines were all covered with snow and all of a sudden you'd see a 30 foot section of snow fall. It was kind of cool.
Don't know about you but never really liked winter. Snow doesn't bother me, driving in it doesn't bother me...it was all the shoveling. If you are in the same boat you owe it to yourself to buy a snowblower if you don't have one. It changed my whole perspective on the season. It's ain't so bad now. I actually kind of like going out an cleaning the snow now. Of course isn't not great when I don't play the wind right and I get a face full of snow...
Wouldn't really mind it if when got a sunny 75 degree day pretty soon either.
