When I was growing up the above picture would be the best Dad in the neighborhood. Today he'd be run out of town. There is a Hashtag that is trending called #DidAsAChildButDangerousNow. People are posting all kinds of photos. A few are below. I remember some of the dangerous stuff our parents let us do with our thinking twice. Seat belts? Ha ya right. We jumped around in the back of a station wagon. Our playgrounds were built on blacktop. Second hand smoke? Whatever. My parents let us run after a truck that drove through the neighborhood that spewed a chemical filled fog that was supposed to kill mosquitoes.
