After a virus caused the cancellation of his Japanese tour and the postponement of seven U.S. dates in June, Paul McCartney finally resumed the Out There tour on Saturday at the Times Union Center and did not disappoint.

He did a normal set list, but did toss in "On My Way to Work" a song from his recent New album as a reference to the tour interruption. The non-musical highlight came in the form of a marriage proposal.

McCartney was reading signs in the audience when he spotted a woman holding one up that read, "He won't marry me until he meets you." The man next to her held one that read, "I've Got the Ring. I'm 64." Paul invited them onstage where the man, John, sang a verse of "When I'm 64." McCartney then lowered the microphone so John could get down on one knee to propose to Claudia who said, "Yes." After the couple thanked Paul he joked to the audience, "They booked us for the wedding."
