There were drive-by shootings in both Albany and Troy Tuesday night, and police say they have some clues in both cases.
First in Albany, around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, a man was shot on Lexington Avenue. Police say one man was shot in the chest and rushed to Albany Medical Center. A red sedan with Vermont plates and green pick-up truck took off onto Clinton Avenue. No arrests so far.
Then in Troy, around 9:20 p.m. near Middleburgh St. and 9th St. Police say several shots were fired but no one was injured. Shortly after the shooting, a car was found stuck in a nearby snow bank. Police say the plates were switched and they believe the car was involved in the shooting but the two inside ran off.
The suspects are described as two males, Hispanic, one wearing red jacket and red ball cap, police said.
