A bank robbery in Troy Thursday afternoon leaves police searching for a suspect. 



It happened at the Citizens Bank on 5th Avenue just before 2:30.  Police say the suspect fled northward on 5th after the robbery.



Here’s the latest from Troy Police:



At 2:26 this afternoon, Troy Police responded to the Citizens Bank on 5th Avenue between Broadway and Fulton Street for a reported robbery. Investigation reveals that a white male entered the bank, approached a teller and handed the teller a note demanding cash. No weapon was displayed; an undetermined amount of cash was taken. Suspect fled north on Fifth Avenue. Detectives are actively working the case.
