A man is lucky to be alive after an off-duty State Trooper gave him CPR.

Police say a 23-year-old man was working out at Vent Fitness in Clifton Park when he suddenly collapsed.

Trooper Seamus Leavey was working out next to him and immediately started CPR.

Leavey then used a defibrillator to help the man start breathing on his own.

The man was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
