An explosive new book by New York Senator Kirstin Gillibrand claims that while there may be 20 women in the U.S. Senate now, sexism is still alive and well in what's traditionally been an exclusive men's club.

In her book, "Off The Sidelines," Gillibrand claims that some of her male colleagues called her "porky" after she had a baby.

The senator says another gave her waist a squeeze after she lost 50 pounds and advised her not to lose too much weight because, "I like my girls chubby."

Gillibrand says she dealt with those boorish slights, and others, either by laughing them off or, in some cases, pushing back.
